Essential Oils in Pregnancy

While, of course, an individual approach is always important, I want to give you some inspiration to show you how I could naturally support my pregnancy with essential oils.

Sensitive breasts
Oils like Geranium, Lavender and Roman Chamomile can soothe.
3-5 drops in 1 teaspoon carrier oil (fractionated Coconut Oil eg) carefully applied.
2-3 drops Clary Calm applied onto your boobs
alternative oils like Lavender, Grapefruit or Ylang Ylang are great too
Feeling tired
As a basis, the the Life Long Vitality Pack for more vitality is highly recommended. In addition, doTERRA offers an energy and endurance complex - Mito2Max. as support for cell activity and for more energy.
Uplifting and refreshing oils such as Elevation, Citrus Bliss, Lemon, Wild Orange or Peppermint can also be wonderfully put into your hands as support, inhaled or applied topically e.g. to your pulse points. The aromatic application in the diffuser is also very suitable for this topic.
Mood Management
Grounding / Soothing Oils: Lavender, Frankincense, Copaiba, Balance, Ylang Ylang Uplifting oils: Lemon and all other citrus oils.
doterra blends such as Elevation, Cheer or Citrus Bliss also have an uplifting effect in their composition.
All oils can be used aromatically in the diffuser or inhaled directly from the bottle with a few deep breaths.
In addition to the above-mentioned oils, the Life Long Vitality Pack and PB Assist to promote your intestinal health when it comes to mood management is also recommended. You might want to place an order via the US store though. The Australian LLV Pack is a bit different due to regulations. If you like to take LLV, please discuss this with your doctor or alternative practitioner.
Constipation
1-3 drops of Digest (Zen Gest), Lemon, Peppermint or Fennel
Take internally in water or in a veggie cap
Topical application: Apply a little fractionated coconut oil to the stomach and massage in gently.
Alternative recommendations: Cypress & Majoram. (See topical application)
Swelling 1-2 drops in 500 ml of water. Please make sure to always drink citrus oils from a glass or glass bottle. Lemon is cold-pressed and has an alkaline effect in the body and supports the natural function of the metabolism.
3-5 drops of the following oils and oil mixtures are also suitable for a massage: Aroma Touch, Cypress, Grapefruit, Lavender, Ginger and Lemon Please always dilute with a carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil, and massage it into arms, legs and joints
Head tension
Of course, tensions in the head and neck area often have very complex causes. The following individual oils and oil mixtures can be massaged into the forehead, neck or temples, for example, individually or in combination.
Single oils: Peppermint, Lavender or Frankincense
Oil blends: Deep Blue, Aroma Touch
If you want to additionally support yourself with the internal intake: 3 drops each
Lemongrass
Majoram
Frankincense
Take in a veggie cap as needed.
Heartburn support In general, oils such as Peppermint, Digestzen (ZenGest) and Fennel can provide you with aromatic and/ or topical support.
You can also take Terra Zyme with your meal, so that the food can be better processed and broken down by the gastrointestinal tract. If you are in Australia, please order it through the US market.
If you would like to support yourself with the internal intake, it is recommended you take 1-2 drops of the following oils with a veggie cap or put them under your tongue, depending on your needs: Zen Gest Peppermint Ginger Wild Orange
Support your muscles Here, too, the Life Long Vitality Pack is a very recommendable basis. Often there is also a magnesium deficit here. Please talk to your doctor about this. Ich empfehle dir dann zusätzlich den Bone Complex einzunehmen.
Topically, a massage with e.g. majoram and aroma touch can have a pleasant effect on the muscles. Please always dilute the oils with a carrier oil.
Support with nausea It is recommended you use the following oils aromatically, topically and internally: Ginger (e.g. 1 drop in a glass of water or on the pulse points and inhale) Peppermint (e.g. put 1 drop in a glass of water or on the pulse points and inhale) Digestzen (Zen Gest) - e.g. put a drop in a glass of water on the pulse points or a drop under the tongue Make sure you have enough protein in your nutrition plan.
Massage blend: Apply 1-2 drops of Lavender, Sandalwood and Ginger diluted with fractionated coconut oil to the stomach. Put 1 drop of cardamom behind the ears. Take 3 drops of Fennel, Ginger or Peppermint each in a veggie cap Take 1-2 drops of ginger and lemon in water with honey with a little magnesium
Spray for on the go 20 drops Peppermint 15 drops Lemon 5 drops Wild Orange Fill it in a 50ml glass bottle and top it up with filtered water
Blend against morning sickness 10 drops Peppermint 10 drops Cardamon 30 drops Lavender Fill in a 5ml bottle and a few drops on the hands and inhale or put behind your ears.
Urinary track support If you generally tend to have sensitivity of your urinary tract, I recommend the Lifelong Vitality Pack as a basis as well as a glass of lukewarm water with 1-2 drops of lemon oil every morning.
Internally, the following blend in acute cases is recommended: Put 4 drops of Cassia, Oregano, On Guard each in a veggie cap and take every 3-4 hours for a maximum of two days.
