Not everything can or should be done DIY.  If you need to shop for products, use your money to your advantage. If you want to create a reduced harmful toxin world that works for all people, the most important thing you can do is vote with your dollars. Where you spend and invest your money is a powerful way of voting each day to support companies that are doing the right thing. ⁣

When we walk into a department store and spend over $100 on toxic perfume we are pretty much saying “thank you we love your product”⁣.

When we buy fabric softener with no ingredients list that causes skin allergies & sensitivities we are saying “we love your product, keep up the good work”. ⁣

When we purchase toxic air fresheners for our home and spray it all round we are saying “I agree with you company ethics and standards”.⁣

When we purchase skin care products that have ingredients that have been linked to infertility we are saying “we love your product so please make more”. ⁣

⁣

Being a conscious consumer is crucial in the low-tox-living journey.  It’s part of a mind shift that occurs when you realise you have been putting money into companies that care very little about you, your family and the environment. ⁣
